Pricing the businesses you already serve. The engine is ours.
We work with organisations that already stand in front of a body of businesses, and price their clients on our own models. The relationship, the process and the client remain yours.
The software is built. What it needs is a book to be applied to.
PikaGuard does not build distribution and has no intention of doing so. Our work is the pricing engine: each business parameterised in detail, modelled against real loss experience, and returned as a number that can be defended line by line. That engine is worth most in the hands of an organisation that already holds the clients: a broker with a book, an adviser with a portfolio, a platform or association with a membership. We supply the analytics; the network stays yours.
Brokers & advisers
If you already service a book of commercial clients, PikaGuard runs underneath it. Every account is parameterised in detail, covering exposures, controls and loss history at the grain that matters, and comes back as a submission that argues for itself.
We are not a broker and we do not want to become one. We have no appetite for the placing, the market relationships or the servicing. That is your business, and we would be worse at it. A submission an underwriter can price on evidence rather than on a class average tends to come back with better terms, and the client credits the broker who brought it.
If a client is happy with you, we will never suggest they leave. We are paid on the analysis, not on where the risk is placed, so we have nothing to gain from unseating anyone.
Platforms, associations & portfolios
The same engine applies wherever one organisation stands in front of many businesses: an accountancy or advisory practice, a trade association, an investor with a portfolio, a software platform serving a single industry.
We deploy across the membership rather than one account at a time: a common view of exposure over the whole network, each business benchmarked against its peers, and a priced position for every member who wants one. It can be delivered under your name or ours, whichever suits the relationship.
There is no integration to build before you find out whether it is worth doing. A list of the businesses you serve and one conversation is enough to establish what the model has to say about them.
Underwriters & insurers
We are an analytics firm, not a competitor. We carry no risk, hold no paper and write no business, so there is no conflict in working with us.
Two things usually make it worthwhile. Risks arrive better documented than the market standard, which means less loading for the unknown and fewer surprises in the book. And where you contribute asset or claims data, we pay for it whenever it is used in a convergence. Your data earns its keep instead of sitting in a warehouse.
Everything is co-validated against independent sources before it reaches a client, and contributed data is used to build the model, never resold.
When the network is personal rather than institutional.
Not every network sits inside a firm. A good deal of this work arrives through individuals the businesses already trust: advisers, consultants, former brokers and operators who know a sector properly. If that is you, we partner on the deal rather than paying a finder’s fee and moving on.
You take a share of the fee on every client you bring in, for as long as they stay. Introduce someone who goes on to open up a network of their own, and you take a share of theirs too. We would rather the people who built the relationship kept benefiting from it.
Four steps from a first conversation to a network that is priced.
There is nothing to install and no data migration to sit through. Most partners are live within a fortnight of the first call, and the work on your side amounts to one conversation and a link.
Tell us who you stand in front of
One conversation about the businesses you serve: the sector, the size, how they buy and what they are usually sold. That sets the shape of the partnership: what the offer is, how the economics split, and how much of it carries your name rather than ours.
Your partner page goes up
We build you a page of your own: your branding, the terms as agreed, and one address to send people to. Nothing to integrate and nothing for your team to learn: it sits behind a link that works in an email, a newsletter, a member portal or a footer.
Your network gets priced
Businesses that follow the link are parameterised properly rather than dropped into a class average, and the partnership terms are already applied by the time they see a number. We do the modelling and the paperwork that follows it; the relationship stays yours throughout.
The line stays open
Every partner keeps a standing channel to us: a named contact, a shared thread for questions, and a regular read on the network covering who has been priced, what is renewing and where exposure is drifting. It is how the arrangement stays worth having after the first cohort.
